The Deep Sounding

The Deep Sounding. Collection 03 from Midnight Observatory: the sea log of the Observatory's sister expedition. In the spring of 1888 the Committee sent a drifter, the Constance, to find out whether the North Sea was behaving itself. The soundings came back wrong: no bottom where the chart said shallows, and a line that went slack, then pulled.

Victorian nautical charts, serpent plates, sounding notices and specimen tags. Light ink on dark tees, for folklore readers, sea-monster fans and anyone who likes an old map with something wrong in it.

Each tee is printed when you order it. If the line pulls, let it go.
