General arrangement of Coombe I, the Small Hours Programme's craft, 1965. It is named for the man who kept the log in 1887 and built to carry what he left behind: Telescope 2's eyepiece, fitted at the port; its lens cap, stowed face down; and the log, continued. The nose dome's slit is to face up. The blind is to remain open. Item 21 is a kettle. A tall cutaway plate of a slim three-finned craft with numbered callouts, a typed key and the eyepiece in moon-gold.
