A herbarium specimen tee for plant people who like a record that holds still. This one did not.

Pressed on 22nd June 1888, the morning after the turn, so that there would be one record that held still. By evening the flattened head had twisted on its stem towards the top of the sheet, and the tape on that side had begun to tear. The label was not changed. A line was added. A notched herbarium sheet with one pressed moon-flower, Vigilaria versans, under three paper tape strips, its flower head in moon-gold, above a collector's label: Has since turned.
