The Night Assistant's Rota – Victorian Observatory T-Shirt
£25.00
A dark academia tee for night owls who like a properly kept rota. Every watch is covered, every night. That is rather the trouble.
The small-hours rota for November 1887, pinned by the door as usual, lists the four night staff the Observatory employs, and one more. In a hand that matches nobody's, the Night Assistant takes the watch from 2 a.m. to first light every night and has never once been late. The Committee has checked the wage book twice. Nobody hired them, and nobody has ever been paid. A typeset duty sheet with two pins and a small engraved lantern, its flame the one touch of moon-gold.
