Unscheduled Comet, 1887 – Victorian Comet T-Shirt
£25.00
A Victorian comet tee for anyone who likes things to arrive when they're expected. This one didn't, and it has never apologised.
The observatory keeps a careful timetable of everything due to cross the sky. In 1887 something crossed it anyway, unannounced and in no particular hurry. A complaint was drafted but never sent, as nobody knew where to send it. A moon-gold head, a long engraved tail and the observatory dome below, telescope already trained on it.
